    Founded by Tom Matthews in 1986, Matthews Leisure was one of the first in the country to offer inflatables and unique fun equipment for hire. 

    The business quickly grew from strength to strength, culminating in its expansion in 1992 with the addition of Tom’s sons Wayne and Neil and moving into our current offices & warehouse in 1993. We soon became established and well respected in the corporate market, whilst building an impressive client base from all over the UK. Our success quickly gained recognition, first highlighted in a feature in our local newspaper, followed by an interview on ITV West in 1984.  This exposure propelled us to the forefront, setting us apart from our competitors.

Compact games like Batak Lite and Strike a Light Dual require minimal space and are perfect for smaller indoor venues, while larger attractions like Laser Clay Shooting need approximately 30m x 40m. Most of our arcade games, simulators, and side stall games are designed to fit comfortably in standard function rooms, conference centers, and outdoor spaces. We offer free site surveys to assess your venue and recommend the most suitable entertainment options that maximize your available space while ensuring safe, enjoyable gameplay.

        All our fairground game rentals include complete equipment packages with everything needed for immediate play. This includes the game units, all necessary accessories (balls, hoops, corks, etc.), professional setup and breakdown, safety equipment, and operating instructions. Many attractions feature electronic scoring systems, digital displays, sound systems, and professional lighting. We also provide public liability insurance, experienced setup teams, and on-site support when required. Our Christmas-themed games include festive decorations and seasonal theming at no extra cost.
